A Challenge And A Blessing

We are new to foster care and actually saw a notice in our church newsletter asking for Foster Parents for specialized foster care. We had always thought about being foster parents but have family and work commitments that kept us from doing so. Now was our chance since we are semi-retired and our kids are all grown.

We foster “medical needs children”. It’s a challenge but we get so much support from our case worker Nancy Custard. She is available 24/7, keeps us informed, answers our questions and provides us with moral support. Jump in and you’ll find Foster Parenting a challenge and a blessing.
