About HCFPA

The Horry County Foster Parent Association is made up of foster parents, guardians ad litem, and child care professionals who have a common interest in educating themselves and others to properly care for children residing in foster care in Horry County. We meet for training, a business meeting, and dinner together the second Tuesday of each month at 6:30 pm at the DSS office of Highway 701 North in Conway.

This website is intended to serve as a central location for information about foster care. Here, perspective foster parents can download applications for licensing, review training materials, locate contact information for DSS employees, and monitor a schedule of events. Also, anyone interested in supporting the HCFPA can sign-up to volunteer or make a donation through this site.
